| Late Oil Pan Zipper Kit | ||||||||||
| Remove oil pan. | ||||||||||
| Clean off oil pan gasket surface on block. | ||||||||||
| Locate a blind pan bolt hole. * | ||||||||||
| Use blue Loctite on the threads going into the block. | ||||||||||
| Install a stud using a 3mm allen wrench. | ||||||||||
| Run it down till it bottoms in the hole. | ||||||||||
| Use this to set the depth of the other studs. | ||||||||||
| Install other studs with blue Loctite. | ||||||||||
| Wipe off any excess Loctite. | ||||||||||
| Oil Pan installation; | ||||||||||
| Rubber gasket; | ||||||||||
| Clean oil pan gasket surface. | ||||||||||
| Install gasket and oil pan. | ||||||||||
| Install nuts (NO Loctite) and torque to 4 - 6 Lb/Ft | ||||||||||
| Cork gasket; | ||||||||||
| Clean oil pan gasket surface. | ||||||||||
| Install gasket onto block. | ||||||||||
| Install oil pan. | ||||||||||
| Install nuts (NO Loctite) and torque to 4 - 6 Lb/Ft | ||||||||||
| * Some bolt holes are not drilled and tapped all the way thru. | ||||||||||
