| Disassemble head. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Hot tank and check for cracks. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Clean out hydraulic lifter bores. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Using “stud and bearing mount” press the inserts into the lifter bores, driving them down with ACE tool # 02003T. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Machine the top of the bosses parallel to and .500 inches above the rocker cover rail. | |||||||||||||||||||
| The top of the boss should be a minimum of 1.312 inches in diameter. | |||||||||||||||||||
