| Installation procedure. |
|
|
| 1.
Remove spark wires and plugs. |
|
| 2.
Clean head port surfaces. |
|
| 3. Rest vehicle on jack stands placed under frame in front of
front axle. |
|
| 4. Remove front wheels. |
|
| 5. Trim fender wells for headers. Fig. A Protect open exhaust
and plug openings. |
| 6. Install left header thru fender well over steering box. |
|
| 7. Slide coated* gasket in place, start all bolts, tighten from
the center out. |
|
| 8. Install right header thru fender well. |
|
| 9. Slide coated* gasket in place, start all bolts, tighten from
the center out. |
|
| 10. Replace plugs and wires. Be sure they do
not touch headers. |
|
| 11.
Check bolts after warm up and approx 500 miles. |
|
|
| * Recommended, high heat red
silicone, pam etc, |
|
| Do not use
header wrap! |
