| Installation procedure. |
|
|
| 1. Remove Hood and Front Bumper. |
|
| 2. Mark and disconnect all wires, hoses,
linkage, etc. |
|
| 3. Drain fluid responsibly, remove radiator. |
|
| 4. Remove existing engine and trans. |
|
| 5. Cut existing engine frame mounts off, grind flush and smooth. |
|
| 6. Weld new engine mount adapters, 14 ¼”
back, 2 ¼” down on frame. Fig. A |
|
| 7. Trim fender wells for headers. Fig. B |
|
| 8. Trim off hook and gravel pan tabs. Pan tabs may be relocated
if desire. |
|
| 9. Trim bell housing on passenger side per Fig. C |
|
| 10. Trim radiator core support per Fig. D |
|
| 11. Unbolt and drop down sway bar. (To be
reinstalled later) |
|
| 12. Bend lip at center of fire wall up 1” and
back 1 ½”. Fig. E |
|
| 13. Move heater hose openings, drill new
holes after engine is installed. Fig. E
|
|
| 14. Install engine & trans as a unit,
utilize a high angle |
|
| 15. Install trans Cross member. |
|
| 16. Install water pump. |
|
